About the Opportunity

We are looking for a passionate trainer with a student outcomes focus and demonstrated experience in the design and delivery of resources.  Most of all, you will have an effective and flexible training delivery style that delivers positive outcomes across diverse learners, including: communication, interpersonal skills, resilience, accountability and self-management.

Some of your day-to-day responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):

  • Leading learning activities and delivering training as set out in the training programs developed;
  • Effectively delivering training to students in line with training program structure and resources;
  • Coordinating and delivering the full spectrum of training and assessment activities to ensure RTO performance and compliance outcomes are achieved; and
  • Identify and address potential barriers to achieving learning outcomes.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

To be successful in this position you must have:

  • Current TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (minimum)
  • Recent Nursing/Aged Care experience (ideally as a Registered Nurse or Assistant in Nursing)
  • Nursing/Aged Care qualification (Cert IV in Aged Care – minimum)
  • Experience working in the Vocational Educational and Training (VET) sector

Desirable but not mandatory:

  • Qualification and experience in disability service
